Our History
Our group was founded in 1975, in the Cantal region of France. 20 years later, we relocated our factories to Tunisia, taking our French know-how with us.
Operating on a surface area of over 4,000 m2, and employing nearly 350 people, our group’s production capacity is around 1.5 million articles per year. Our management team, backed by decades of experience, listens to its customers and does everything in its power to satisfy them. The versatility and qualifications of our staff are of the highest quality. For many years, we have specialised in the manufacture of corsetry, lingerie and swimwear for women, men and children.

Over the years, we have become a major player in the industry thanks to our commitment to quality, responsiveness and innovation. We offer a wide range of services, including subcontracting, co-contracting and the production of full business products, while respecting our customers’ specific requirements.
Quality is our top priority. Every article is manufactured with the utmost care and to the strictest technical standards. At the same time, we are committed to providing high-quality products while respecting the environment. We implement practices aimed at reducing our environmental impact, while offering our customers products that are competitive in terms of quality, lead time and price.
Somes Dates
The family business began in France, with companies such as Cantal confection and Vet46.
SIF opened its first factory in 1993 in Béni Khiar, Tunisia, with a workforce of 45.
Diversification of the company’s business into the orthopaedic and ready-to-wear markets.
Our company is opening its Research and Development department to set up a total manufacturing process.
Restructuring of the Group and creation of the SIF Group, comprising our I Cut, Pour’Elle and @Elle plants.

Our commitments
SIF is committed to sustainable development and to respecting the social rights of its staff. With this in mind, we are pleased to have been BSCI certified since 2023. The aim of the BSCI is to protect workers’ rights and improve their working conditions.
SIF guarantees workers’ rights, promoting freedom of association and non-discrimination. We are committed to guaranteeing good working conditions that ensure workers’ health and safety, with decent working hours and wages. Our staff also benefit from in-house training.
In addition, we give preference to local suppliers, in order to reduce our carbon footprint and support the local economy. Our suppliers are certified eco-responsible through oeko tex certification.
Our commitment to social and environmental causes is constantly evolving and we are implementing various actions to protect our planet and our staff.
